Clerical Testing Services


The Human Resources Department offers a schedule of dates for keyboarding tests.   This provides opportunities for applicants to complete job qualifying typing tests as well as for current district employees wishing to upgrade or change job positions. An individual's scenario results may be used to help determine if the applicant is qualified for employment.

The process is conducted in a fair and consistent manner. The proctor does not participate in the decision making process of hiring individuals. All results and personal information are confidential and will only be released to the applicant/employee in person or to the School District of Osceola County, Florida, Human Resources..

Clerical Scenarios Available
Applicants may sign up for the typing test for one set fee. Current employees of the School District of Osceola County, Florida are not charged a fee for clerical testing.

  • Typing: Two five (5) minute timed scenarios are administered. The total words-per-minute are adjusted allowing only two errors per minute.  


A photo ID or School District ID is REQUIRED. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please email or call 407-870-4800, and cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

The cost for clerical typing tests is twelve dollars ($12.00) per session.  In the event you do not achieve the typing score needed for the position, you may reschedule for the next available date.

Fees are collected upon scheduling of the appointment and may be paid by cash, personal check, PayPal, Debit Card, MasterCard, or VISA. Cash or check payments must be made in person by visiting the Human Resources Department, 799 Bill Beck Boulevard, Kissimmee, FL 34744.  Checks must be made out to The School District of Osceola County.  Correct contact information (name, address, and phone number) must be on the check.
