Kissimmee Middle Students Win National and Regional Awards In 2017 Scholastic Art & Writing Competition
Out of over 330,000 works submitted from across the nation, 17 students from Kissimmee Middle School earned 30 national and regional awards at the 2017 Scholastic Art & Writing Competition, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. Art and writing were submitted for adjudication at the regional level in the Awards’ 29 categories, which included poetry, photography, sculpture, humor, editorial cartoons, video game design, and more.

Celebration High Students Earn First Place In Florida State Spanish Conference
Celebration High’s foreign language students won first place in their category at this year’s Florida State Spanish Conference. This is the first time that Celebration High participated in this event, achieving what many schools have not done after years of participation. Students were evaluated on impromptu speech, poetry, and drama, reaching the highest level in all categories.

Harmony High French Students Earn First Place In State Competition
Harmony High French students earned first place in the state among Division 4A schools at the 65th Annual Congrès de la Culture Français en Floride. Participants took part in various competitions in order to demonstrate their talents. Overall, 20 Superior ribbons and 12 Excellent ribbons were earned by the French Students at Harmony High.
